Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 14, 2026 1.
1. Introduction
History Reborn is an augmented reality educational application ("the App") developed by Adam Grimley, trading as SymphonyXR ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App.
We do not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data from users of History Reborn.
2. Developer Contact
For any privacy-related questions, contact us at: info@symphonyxr.io
3. Data We Collect
We collect no personal data. The App does not:
Create user accounts
Track your location
Store your name, email, or any identifier
Transmit any data to our servers (we operate no backend servers)
Use analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs
4. Camera Access
History Reborn requires access to your device's camera solely to power augmented reality features. Camera data is processed entirely on your device in real time and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. Denying camera access will prevent AR features from functioning.
5. Third-Party Services
While we collect no data ourselves, the following third parties may independently collect information as described in their own privacy policies:
Apple App Store (iOS)
Apple may collect data when you download, install, or use the App, subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Google Play Store (Android)
Google may collect data when you download, install, or use the App, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
ARKit (Apple)
ARKit powers AR features on iOS. All ARKit processing occurs locally on your device. Apple does not receive scene or camera data through ARKit.
ARCore (Google)
ARCore powers AR features on Android. ARCore may collect device and sensor data to improve AR functionality. See Google's ARCore Privacy Policy for details.
Unity Engine The App is built with Unity. Unity's runtime does not collect personal data by default in this App. No Unity analytics or advertising services are enabled. See Unity's Privacy Policy for general information.
6. Legal Basis (GDPR — EU/EEA Users)
As we process no personal data, no legal basis under the GDPR is required for our own operations. To the extent any third-party services listed above process your data, their respective legal bases apply as described in their policies.
7. Your Rights (EU/EEA)
Even though we hold no personal data, EU/EEA residents have rights under the GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, and objection. Since we hold nothing, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete. For data held by third parties, please contact them directly.
8. Data Retention
We retain no user data. There is no data to delete.
9. Children History Reborn is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in EU member states where applicable). We do not knowingly collect data from children. As we collect no data from anyone, no special measures are required.
10. Changes to This Policy If we introduce features that require data collection in future, we will update this policy and notify users via the relevant app stores before the change takes effect.
11. Governing Law This policy is governed by the laws of the European Union, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
